Anreise, Parken & Mobilität

🚗 Parken vor Ort

Wie bei den allermeisten Häusern im traditionellen Ortskern von Burgau verfügt auch die Casa Valeria über keinen privaten Stellplatz.

In unserer Straße (Rua da Fortaleza) kann überall kostenfrei an der Straße geparkt werden, solange freie Plätze vorhanden sind. In der Regel parken wir selbst problemlos direkt vor dem Haus – eine Garantie gibt es dafür naturgemäß nicht.

Weitere kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten: Am Ende der Straße gibt es einige weitere öffentliche Stellplätze. Zusätzliche öffentliche Parkflächen stehen oberhalb des Strandes sowie am Ortseingang zur Verfügung (jeweils nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt).

✈️ Flughafen Faro (FAO)
Ca. 95 km (ca. 60 Minuten Fahrtzeit bequem über die Autobahn A22). Lissabon (LIS) ist ca. 3 Std. entfernt.
🚌 Bus & Bahn
Die Regionalbusse (Vamus Algarve) verbinden Burgau täglich mit Lagos (ca. 20–25 Min.). Von dort besteht Anschluss an Züge und Fernbusse.
💡 Unser persönlicher Mietwagen-Tipp: Luzcar

Wir persönlich mieten unseren Leihwagen stets bei der regionalen Autovermietung luzcar.pt (mit Sitz im nahen Lagos) und hatten noch nie Probleme.

Das Fahrzeug steht direkt am Flughafen Faro bereit und kann dort unkompliziert ohne Shuttle-Wartezeiten übernommen werden. Besonders schätzen wir die faire Preisstruktur: Auf den gebuchten Mietpreis fielen bei uns noch nie versteckte Zusatzkosten für Versicherung oder den zweiten Fahrer an.

Casa Valeria is situated right along the famed Fisherman’s Trail (Rota Vicentina). Spectacular cliff walks leading east toward Praia da Luz or west toward Salema start right from the village.

Everything is within arm's reach: Outstanding fresh seafood restaurants, friendly cafes, local bakeries, and two well-stocked grocery stores are reachable in a 2 to 5-minute stroll.
